When I go to the conduct log I have 17 conducts that have been inputted. When I click the RSS feed icon I get taken to the feeds page (in Safari), however I only can see 9 conducts. What has happened to t he other 8??

The RSS feed works off your found set or an individual so if you have, a form group found in the conduct list, the feed will only show entries for that form. If you choose to set up a feed for an individual, only conduct entries for that pupil will be shown.

If you can let me have a bit more information about how you created the feed (what screen you were on, did you have a found set?) I can have a look and see if there are any other issues that may be causing your problem.

Hi,

I went to the conduct log page, the one that lists all the conducts I then clicked the RSS feed icon at the top right.

Basically, as Head Teacher, I am looking for a way via RSS to have quick access to a log of  all conducts within school.

Cheers

Hi

The RSS is setup to drag in feeds that have occurred on or after the date the feed was created. If you don't have a found set we limit the number of feed items returned to prevent a user receiving thousands of feed items when they set up a feed. For example, a new user working in a school that has 10,000 plus entries would end up with an unmanageable amount of feed items and the amount of data to be processed and downloaded to your feed reader would probably crash either PHP on the server, freeze your browser or your feed reader. None of which is good!

What I suggest is splitting your feeds into year groups. This makes the feeds more manageable in terms of volume of items and also allows you to compare data by feed in your feed reader. E.g. how many incidents for each year group, filters by year group, etc.

I hope that explains things a bit more?
